you can find these guys on the east side of route 54 just outside buena, nj. they guard the front lawn of ralph's used auto parts. why? no idea. they are 'musical', as in playing insturments. but they aren't really playing instruments, so don't get your hopes up. they are the product of william clark's imagination, and he apparently has sculptures in hammonton, nj and weymouth, nj as well. i don't know this for sure, as i have not visited either of those places. yet.
when driving by, you can't really miss them. they are brightly colored and large enough to spot from down the road. quirky. while standing on the side of the road taking photos, all i could think of was rodney copperbottom (ya know, from robots?). from what i understand these guys have been here for a very long time, though, so they may actually predate disney's musical robots. they are pretty clever, and an excellent photo op so if you are ever in the area, definitely swing by!
