Facebook - I would like a snowball, please_edited.

what is so important about a dumpy little convenient store? let's see...it's only the setting for maybe the funniest movie about working in retail ever made: clerks. director, kevin smith's movie about a day in the life of dante, a clerk at the local quick stop. "i'm not even supposed to be here today" will be stuck in your head for all eternity once you've seen this film. shot in grainy black and white, smith maxed his credit cards out shooting this gem. if you have never worked in retail or with the general public, you may not understand why exactly this movie is so hilarious. if you do work in retail and you have not yet seen it...go out and buy it right now, because you will want to watch it more than once, i promise you. 58 leonard ave in leonardo, about a 20 minute drive north of redbank you will find this beauty. there's a scene in the movie where dante's girlfriend explains to him what a 'snowball' is (it pertains to s.e.x. so i am not going to go into detail, but it's pretty gross) so i thought it would be funny if i stopped in and got me a snowball. when i walked in, it's just what you'd expect it to be...dingy and it smelled weird. and i loved every second of it (when i say second, i mean maybe like, 30 or so because it was super small and i wasn't lying when i said it smelled weird). so i got my snowball and snapped a picture. if you are a kevin smith fan and are in the redbank area, take the few extra minutes to drive up and visit. at least you can say you got snowballed at the quick stop. if you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me. stop by my facebook and instagram pages for more fun photos! on to my next adventure...
