frontier town, located just outside of ocean city, md. what can i say? i was actually driving by on my way to assateague island when this giant great white shark on the side of the road caught my eye. how could it not? it'a a giant land shark. you aren't supposed to climb in the shark's mouth, according the the sign. but i totally did and it didn't eat me. there's a row boat out front as well. i don't know where anyone thought they were rowing to...but whatever. inside the rowboat, i found ramen noodles (lunch!) and a baseball bat. it appears that someone is very serious about his ramen noodles, so i decided not to mess with them...zombies and baseball bats are not a good mix. at any rate, the only reason i stopped was the shark, but it is actually a campground. after a little research, i found that it started out as the frontier town wild west show in 1959 that eventually evolved into a campround with 65 sites and grew to the 500 campsites they have today (along with a restaurant and a waterpark...which i haven't visited personally, but some friends said they enjoyed it, mostly because it had a bar). www.frontiertown.com is their website if you are a camper, which i am not so that's where this adventure ended, with a picture of me in a shark's mouth. on to my next adventure...
